Vessels of Form and Pulse
Sining Tahanan 2025 - A Contemporary Ceramic Art Exhibition featuring the works of Master Potters, Tahanan Teachers, and Tahanan’s Emerging Artists. Sining Tahanan is organized each year to promote, nurture, and elevate the practice of the growing community of potters and ceramic enthusiasts in the Philippines.

TIBOK, the Filipino word for "heartbeat" serves as the conceptual core of this exhibition, bringing together ceramic works that resonate with the rhythm of life. The heart, understood beyond its anatomical function, becomes a vessel of emotion, memory, and connection, a steady pulse that sustains and binds human experience.
TIBOK explores the heartbeat as both metaphor and memory. Through functional and sculptural forms, the artists translate the intangible qualities of breath, intimacy, and resilience into clay, giving shape to the unseen cadence of existence.
As an ode to the heart as both organ and symbol, TIBOK: Vessels of Form and Pulse invites reflection on the enduring relationship between material and spirit, the dialogue between form, maker, and the living rhythm that unites us all.
