Work of Hands
WORK OF HANDS is a ceramic sculpture in the form of a nautilus, its spiraling shell forms a quiet refuge amid the pressures of pursuits. Emerging from its open chamber are countless hands, reaching, grasping, creating—each one a manifestation of ambition and the artist’s relentless pursuit of both medicine and art.
The hands stretch outward, embodying the weight of many passions, while the shell remains steady, a safe space where creativity and discipline find equilibrium. Nautilus speaks to the artist’s endless motion, yet within its spiral form lies a reminder: amidst the chaos of doing, there must always be a place to return, a space to breathe.
