Kraken

KRAKEN is my very first sculptural piece, marking a bold exploration into three-dimensional form and storytelling through clay. This hand-built ceramic octopus captures the raw power and mystery of the deep sea, with its dynamic tentacles and intricate textures bringing life to the piece. The deep blues, earthy browns, and oceanic greens evoke the ever-changing hues of the abyss, while the glossy finish mimics the fluidity of water.

As I first venture into sculpture, this work represents both the challenge and excitement of pushing creative boundaries, embodying themes of adaptability, hidden strength, and the balance between vulnerability and dominance in nature.
